For warm days and southern destinations, the inner lining is now available in terry cloth, woven from 40% bamboo, 40% cotton, and 20% polyester. Terry cloth feels noticeably cooler than the fluffy Minky fabric and absorbs moisture – ensuring your dog stays comfortable even in summer. Both options can be found in the inner lining selection.
Will your dog fit inside?
Two sizes are available. The XL-LONG, with an interior length of 48 cm, is the bag for dogs with long backs up to approximately 7 kg; the EURO, with 55 cm, meets the maximum dimensions specified by airlines such as Lufthansa and Eurowings for cabin carriers and accommodates dogs up to approximately 8 kg, including the combined weight of the dog and carrier. The crucial factor is your dog's lying length: measure them from nose to rear end when they are curled up or lying on their side. If they lie comfortably in 48 cm, the XL-LONG is sufficient; if they need more space, the EURO is the right choice. Tall or long-legged dogs benefit from the raised mesh, providing more headroom so they can stand up and turn around inside the closed carrier.

All bags are sewn by hand; dimensions may vary by up to 2 cm, and weight by ± 50 g. A bag with terry cloth lining weighs a few grams less than one with minky fabric. The stated external dimensions will not be exceeded.

The Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Austrian, SWISS), Eurowings, and Condor all specify the same maximum dimensions for pets in the cabin: 55 × 40 × 23 cm, a maximum weight of 8 kg for the dog and carrier combined, and the dog must be able to lie down and turn around in the closed carrier. All AIR carrier sizes are built to these dimensions – the EURO fully meets them, while L, XL, and XL-LONG remain below them. TUIfly specifies 55 × 40 × 20 cm, with AIR's 23 cm being three centimeters larger. KLM and Air France (46 × 28 × 24 cm) are too small for AIR. Your design in seven steps
Outer fabric, inner fabric, carrying straps, zipper, mesh, logo embroidery, and size – you can change every choice before confirming; take your time to find the combination that suits you both. For the inner fabric, in addition to the minky colors, you can choose between two terry cloth options in beige and olive. For extra comfort, there's an extra cushion for your dog's head; and because it often gets chilly in the cabin, the dog blanket is a great addition. “Plaid Deluxe” in addition.

Good to know before you order
Production time: Your bag will be handmade from the moment your order is received – please allow approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
Right of withdrawal: Because the AIR-CUSTOM is custom-made for you and your dog and cannot be sold elsewhere, it falls under the exceptions to the statutory right of withdrawal (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB). Exchanges or returns are not possible for this item.

Instructions for using the bag
Our dog carriers are designed with a secure zipper and a sturdy mesh closure to keep your dog safe during travel. However, the carrier is not a place for your dog to be left unattended.
Puppies and young dogs especially have a strong urge to chew and tend to nibble on zippers, seams, or mesh areas. These parts are not designed for prolonged stress or chewing and can be damaged. Please never leave your dog unattended in the closed bag.
Should your dog start chewing on the material or fasteners, open the bag immediately and stop the behavior. Damage caused by chewing or improper use is not covered by our warranty (§§ 434, 276, 280 BGB).
The owner is responsible for the safe use of the bag. When used correctly, the AIR-CUSTOM offers your dog a comfortable, safe, and durable transport solution.
