Softshell dog sweater “Smart” – rust red
The "Smart" is a dog sweater made from two fabrics, each perfectly suited to its role: The back is made of softshell, windproof and water-repellent yet lightweight; the chest and belly are made of polar fleece, warm, soft, and quick-drying. Cotton cuffs with elastane ensure a snug fit at the neck and legs without chafing. A buttonhole at the collar allows for easy leash attachment – sewn shut upon delivery, like a new jacket, and can be opened in seconds when needed. The sweater is easy to pull over the head, machine washable, and retains its shape – a practical everyday garment that will last through many winters, handcrafted in Germany.
Rust red is a color that suits every coat – white and beige as well as gray and black – and doesn't fade even after many washes. It has an autumnal feel without being seasonal: on gray days, the only warm spot in the meadow.
The “Smart” can be worn on its own on cool days – and in winter under our coats, which are designed specifically for this purpose.
Fit and size
Softshell fabric stretches less than shirt or sweatshirt material. Therefore, the "Smart" fits relatively snugly. Measure your dog's back length from the withers to the base of the tail and the chest circumference at its widest point, and compare both measurements to the table. If a measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one – for strongly built dogs, if in doubt, choose one size larger.

The back length is the measurement of your dog, the chest circumference refers to the garment.To help you determine which size corresponds to which breed:
Size 1–2: Italian Greyhound, Russian Toy, Toy Poodle, Miniature Poodle, Miniature Dachshund, Bichon Frise, Bolognese, Bolonka, Affenpinscher
Sizes 3–5: Whippet, Toy Poodle, Manchester Terrier, Jack Russell, Fox Terrier, Pinscher, Basenji, Blue Lacy, Dachshund, Cocker Spaniel
Size 6–7: Galgo, Weimaraner, Saluki, Podenco, Vizsla
Size 8–10: Borzoi, Azawakh, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Greyhound, Deerhound

- Cuffs: 95% cotton, 5% elastane
- Wash at 30°C in the washing machine, do not tumble dry.
