Finding a holiday accommodation where your four-legged friend is just as welcome as you is not always easy. Sometimes animals are generally not wanted, sometimes a high surcharge is charged for the dog, but there is no return service. It can be particularly difficult if you have several fur babies. The number of dogs allowed in a holiday apartment is often limited. You end up spending more time searching than your vacation.

Not so with Pamela Weber in Austria's Pillerseetal in beautiful Tyrol. She has three greyhounds herself and knows from her own experience the challenges that a holiday with several dogs entails:

• All that luggage, where you have to think of all sorts of utensils such as bowls, blankets or poop bags.

• Finding an escape-proof fence around the property or stressed out with a towline so your furry friend can't run away.

• The price surcharge, which can really add up to more than one dog.

• Dated and not clean accommodations that are obviously good enough for dog owners.

"There has to be another way",

thought Pamela and realized her heart's project in June 2020: modern, comfortable holiday apartments for guests with dogs. Dogs are not only welcome here, they are a requirement: Pamela rents out her accommodation exclusively to dog owners. The number of dogs is not limited and best of all: every dog stays for free. With a lot of passion and heart, she makes sure that people and their fur babies have everything they need.

The "Holiday with Dogs" house has 2 spacious holiday apartments, called "Apartment Steinplatte" and "Apartment Fellhorn"

You can book the two spacious holiday apartments since June 2020. They are in the same house and are equipped with everything you and your dog need for a relaxing stay.

Freshly made beds, towels, cleaning equipment incl. vacuum cleaner, coffee, tea, sugar, coffee cream, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, dishwasher tabs as well as welcome snacks and many other amenities are included in both apartments for the two-legged friends Guests. In addition, there is a washing machine including detergent, dryer and ironing equipment in the basement for free use.

But that's not all! Pamela has also thought of the four-legged friends in every respect. These are just a few of the free services for animal guests:

• Food and water bowls

• Orthopedic dog beds with cozy blankets
• Dog and paw towels
• Balls
• First aid kit
• Welcome treats (pure meat treats in
all variations, also for allergy sufferers)• Dog shower including shampoo
• Own feed preparation kitchen including separate freezer especially for raw feeders

I particularly like the fact that you can book a dog sitter if required and of course subject to availability, who will look after your four-legged friend in the apartment or in the kennel. Maybe you want to do something that your dog can't be there with or it's more comfortable if he's left alone at home.

This all-round carefree package, cleanliness and the warm, personal contact with Pamela has already made many guests' hearts beat faster.By the way, Pfotencheck has just classified Pamela's heart project "holiday with dogs" with 5 paws!

From April 2022, Pamela is already announcing additional services: There will be a selection of different breakfast baskets filled exclusively with regional specialties. These can be booked optionally - even at short notice and by the day - and will then be freshly delivered to your apartment door in the morning .

You can do a lot of things in the Pillerseetal, whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter. Pamela has the house open all year round, is always personally available on site with seasonal tour tips and is happy to reveal her favorite places.

Activities in the Pillerseetal

The region was named after the lake of the same name. It is located in Tyrol in the Kitzbühel area and borders on the state of Salzburg. The landscape makes the heart beat faster: the emerald green Pillersee, the rugged mountains and large meadows invite you to be active. In summer you can go hiking, biking or swimming with your dog in the crystal-clear streams and lakes. For the very enthusiastic water rats there is even a dog pool in the garden in summer.

I myself love the quiet atmosphere of winter for a holiday with my dogs. The Pillerseetal in the Kitzbühler Alps is one of the snowiest regions in Tyrol and there you will also find plenty of opportunities to have fun with your four-legged friend.

You can:

• Go on winter hikes
– with or without snowshoes
• Go cross-country skiing
• Go tobogganing
• Ski touring
• Skiing and snowboarding

Many four-legged friends enjoy romping through the snow. Some have their first contact with it on vacation and get excited when they can jump around in it. After a long walk through the idyllic winter landscape, make yourself comfortable in the apartment with a cup of tea and recover from the impressions. It couldn't be more relaxed and comfortable!

Feel like a winter holiday with your dog now?
