Slide Out Deluxe Dog Car Seat – Black

Small dogs don't like to ride just anywhere – they like to ride with you. The "Slide Out Deluxe" puts them in exactly that position: on the passenger seat or the back seat, with high, soft sides that stay put on curves and become a chin rest during breaks. Your dog lies elevated, sees you, feels the familiar boundaries – and relaxes. It's precisely this combination of closeness and den-like comfort that transforms nervous whining into calm breathing.

The entire seat is sewn from black Oxford cloth – the tightly woven fabric used for good travel luggage, impervious to paw prints and road dust: robust, durable, and wipeable. The floor cushion is reversible with two sides – one side is black imitation rabbit fur for burying, the other black Oxford, smooth and easy to wipe clean. And when the journey is over, its namesake comes into play.

Will your dog fit inside?

Small and cozy go hand in hand – but only if the size is right. Measure him when he's curled up or lying on his side, from nose to rear end – this is the measurement he needs for his sleeping area, plus a few centimeters of extra space. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one: he should be able to turn around and relax, not have to fit inside. And observe how your dog lies: a curled-up dog needs less space than your measuring tape indicates, a stretched-out one needs more – for him, it's the unfolded area that counts. Slide-out-Length. And dachshunds are longer than their weight would suggest: For long breeds, it's the lying length that matters, not the scale.

From seat to sofa

Two zippers on the sides, and the front panel folds flat forward: easy entry, and at the end, a small sofa where your dog can stretch out – under the table in a café, in a holiday home, at a friend's house. The same space, everywhere.

So he is firmly in the car

A car seat is only stable when it doesn't move. That's why the "Slide Out Deluxe" has two ways to securely attach to the car seat at the back – you only need one, no tools required:

1. About the headrest: Two D-rings at the top – hook the strap and guide it over the headrest.
2. About the backrest: Attach the supplied strap to the back and stretch it over the backrest.

Completely removable, washable at 30°C

Sand, fur, wet paws – it's all fine. Open the zipper at the bottom, remove the cushion, put the cover in the washing machine: 30°C, in a laundry bag, do not tumble dry. That's all there is to it.
